Run personalized outbound email campaigns
Personalized outbound campaigns still work, but only when each email reads like a person wrote it for one specific reader.

- Start from a list, or build one from your customer profile
- Check that each prospect is worth emailing
- Write every email from research, not a template
- Send from a working address and keep replies together
- Schedule the follow-ups
- Report what was delivered and what to do next

A campaign that sends the same paragraph to a thousand people gets ignored, and the more a team tries to grow the volume, the more generic the writing usually becomes. The real difficulty is holding personalization and scale together: finding the right people, learning enough about each one to say something true, writing a message worth a reply, sending it from an address that lands, and following up without losing the thread.
That job breaks into a short list of repeatable tasks, which is the kind of work an AI marketer handles well. AI marketers can research one prospect at a time, write from what they find instead of a template, send the message, and watch what happens next. Then they can repeat the process across a whole list without getting tired or cutting corners.
Kite is an AI marketer you work with in Slack. It runs your outbound email campaigns end to end: from building the list to reporting which messages were delivered. It writes each email from fresh research, so the personalization is real rather than a merge field. Here's how it works.
How Kite runs personalized outbound email campaigns
Kite starts with your audience. You can hand it a list you already have, or Kite can build one from your ideal customer profile and the goal of your campaign. It verifies that each person still holds the role and works at the company you think they do, then scores them against your criteria so weak fits don't get an email.
For every prospect who makes the cut, Kite researches the account and the person and writes an individual email from what it finds. It sends from your Kite-managed team address, or through your own sending platform when you connect one, and it keeps track of each message so replies stay attached to the right thread. Kite then schedules the follow-ups, so people who don't answer hear from you again on the timeline you set.
After the messages go out, Kite reports which were accepted, which failed, and which drew a reply. It uses that result to tell you what to do next, whether that's following up, moving a warm reply to your sales team, or adjusting the list and the message for the next batch.
Start from a list, or build one from your customer profile
Every campaign begins with an audience. If you already have a list of accounts or contacts, Kite works from it. If you don't, Kite builds one from what it knows about your business: your ideal customer profile, your positioning, and the goal you give the campaign.
To build a list, Kite searches for companies that match the industry, size, location, growth, funding, or technology you care about, then finds the right people at those companies by title, function, and seniority. It can add current role, company, LinkedIn profile, and a professional email when its built-in sources have one. Its research sources are built into the product, so this first step needs no separate account.
Kite can also start from timing rather than a static profile. When a company just raised money, hired for a role, launched a product, or changed leadership, that's a reason to reach out now, and Kite can find accounts showing those events and pull the contacts to match.

Check that each prospect is worth emailing
Sending to the wrong people is how outbound earns spam complaints and burns a domain. So before Kite writes anything, it confirms that each prospect is a real fit. It verifies that the person still holds the role and works at the company on the record, using current public profile data rather than whatever the list claimed.
Kite then scores each prospect from one to five against the company and contact criteria you agreed on, and it explains the score. The decision draws on the same facts that make a good target: the person's title and seniority, and the company's industry, size, and other conditions you set. A prospect who scores low doesn't get an email, which keeps the campaign aimed at people who might actually reply.
When a list arrives with missing or stale email addresses, Kite can find and verify the work email before it sends anything, so messages go to an address that exists instead of bouncing.

Write every email from research, not a template
This is the part that decides whether the campaign works. Kite writes each email one at a time, from research on the specific account and person, so the message says something true about that reader instead of dropping their name into a stock paragraph.
For each prospect, Kite gathers what's relevant: what the company does, the person's role, and any recent activity worth mentioning, such as a launch, a funding round, or a hiring push. It decides the angle from that research and writes the email in your brand voice, using your positioning and the point of the campaign. The result is a message that reads like you wrote it for one person, which is the whole reason personalized outbound gets replies.
Because Kite drafts from research every time, the writing scales without collapsing into sameness. Each reader gets a message grounded in their own situation, not a variable swapped into the same template a hundred times.
Send from a working address and keep replies together
An email only counts if it reaches an inbox. Kite sends from your Kite-managed team address, so you can run a campaign without connecting any sending account. When you want messages to go out from your own domain and sending reputation, you can connect your own email platform and Kite sends through it instead.
Kite keeps track of each message it sends. That means replies stay attached to the right conversation, and follow-ups only go to people who have not answered yet. You're not manually matching responses back to the list or accidentally emailing someone who already wrote back.

Schedule the follow-ups
Most replies come from the second and third message, not the first, so follow-ups are where a campaign earns its results. Kite schedules the follow-up work as a workflow that runs on the delay you choose, and because it knows who has replied, it only sends the next message to people who haven't answered.
You decide the cadence and how many follow-ups to send, and Kite handles the timing. A prospect who replies drops out of the follow-up sequence automatically, so no one gets a "just checking in" note after they have already responded.
Report what was delivered and what to do next
Sending is not the end of the job. After a batch goes out, Kite reports which messages were accepted, which failed, and which drew a reply. Failed sends tell you where an address or a domain needs attention, and replies tell you which accounts to move forward.
Kite uses those results to recommend the next move. That might be sending the scheduled follow-up, passing a warm reply to your sales team, recording the contact and reply in your CRM when you have one connected, or refining the list and the message before the next batch. Each campaign teaches Kite a little more about what your buyers respond to, and it carries that into the next one.
What you get
A qualified, scored prospect list
The accounts and contacts worth emailing, each with a role and company that Kite verified and a fit score from one to five that explains why they made the cut.
A personalized email per prospect
An individual message written from research on that account and person, in your brand voice, rather than one template with names swapped in.
The sent campaign
Kite sends from your Kite-managed address or your connected platform, keeps the messages tracked so replies thread correctly, and follows up on the schedule you set.
A delivery and reply report
Which messages were accepted, which failed, and which got a response, with a recommended next step for each result.
How to get started
Add Kite to Slack, then tell it what you want in plain language. You might say, "Run an outbound campaign to heads of marketing at Series B SaaS companies," or, "Here's a list of 200 accounts, write and send personalized intros." Kite proposes the audience, the message angle, and the follow-up cadence, and you approve or adjust it in the thread before anything sends.
You can run a full campaign with no other account connected: Kite's research sources build and verify the list, and your Kite-managed team address sends the mail. Connect your own sending platform when you want messages to go out from your domain, and connect your CRM when you want replies recorded there. Kite proposes the work by default, and your team approves it with a reply in the Slack thread.
Integrations used to run personalized outbound email campaigns
Kite uses its built-in research sources to find, verify, and study your prospects, so the first campaign can run without a separate account. Connect your own email platform when you want to send from your domain, and connect your CRM when you want the replies recorded for sales.

Common questions
Will the emails actually be personalized, or just have my name merged in?
Each email is written from research on that specific account and person, so it references something true about the reader instead of dropping a name into a shared template. Kite decides the angle from what it finds, such as the company's work, the person's role, and any recent event worth mentioning, then writes the message in your brand voice. Because it drafts every email from research, the writing stays specific even across a large list.
Can Kite send outbound email without me connecting a sending account?
Yes. Kite can send from a Kite-managed team address, so you can run a campaign with no other account connected. When you want messages to go out from your own domain and sending reputation, connect your email platform and Kite sends through it instead.
How does Kite decide who to email?
Kite verifies that each prospect still holds the role and works at the company on the record, then scores them from one to five against the company and contact criteria you set, and explains the score. It uses the person's title and seniority and the company's industry, size, and other conditions to decide. Prospects who score low do not get an email, which keeps the campaign focused on people likely to respond.
How are follow-ups handled?
Kite schedules the follow-ups as workflows that run on the delay you choose, and it keeps track of who has replied. Follow-ups only go to people who have not answered, and a prospect who responds drops out of the sequence, so no one receives a follow-up after they have already written back. You set the cadence and the number of follow-ups.
What happens after the campaign sends?
Kite reports which messages were accepted, which failed, and which drew a reply. It recommends the next step for each result, such as sending the scheduled follow-up, passing a warm reply to your sales team, or recording the contact and reply in a connected CRM. It also uses what it learns from the results to improve the list and the message for the next batch.
